- Transport of containers by inland navigation ships from the port of Hamburg to inland ports located in hinterland on the basis of regular lines (Hinterland-Shuttle), including embarkation and unloading
- Transport of heavy cargo by inland navigation ships: the transport of parts of devices and systems, big containers and heavy machines by lighters with a flat board and lighters designed for heavy cargo as well as complete project planning for the purpose of meeting logistic requirements
- Transport of mass cargo by inland navigation ships: the transport of cargo in a solid form, such as construction materials, ores, scrap, feeds, cereals, and fertilizers
- Transport of hazardous cargo by inland navigation ships: the transport of solid and liquid materials, such as mineral oils products and chemicals by specially equipped ships under the command of appropriately trained captains
- Transport by inland navigation tankers: in case of the transportation of huge amounts of liquid cargo, such as bio-fuels, oils and liquid fertilizers by self-propelled ships and lighters
